Terms of Sales – Handpieces Direct

These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern all customer orders placed with Handpieces Direct. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, which constitute the entire agreement between you and Handpieces Direct.

1. Ordering and Specifications

1.1 Unless explicitly specified in your order, the suitability of any goods supplied by Handpieces Direct is at your own risk.

1.2 Handpieces Direct agrees to deliver goods of satisfactory quality as per the Sale of Goods Act 1979, matching any specific descriptions provided in your order. Minor defects do not justify rejection of goods.

1.3 Handpieces Direct is not liable for errors in orders not confirmed in writing. We do not accept responsibility for inaccuracies or errors made by customers.

2. Quotations

All quotations provided by Handpieces Direct are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices quoted exclude VAT and delivery charges unless otherwise stated.

3. Payment

3.1 Payment for all orders must be made in full before delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g., monthly accounts).

3.2 VAT is payable at the current rate on all goods and services supplied.

3.3 Failure to pay invoices on time may incur interest as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, along with additional late payment charges and costs for debt recovery.

3.4 Handpieces Direct reserves the right to recover unpaid debts through legal action, including court costs and fees.

4. Non-delivery or Short Delivery of Goods

4.1.1 Notification of short deliveries must be made in writing to Handpieces Direct within 7 days of the original delivery date.

4.1.2 For deliveries by Handpieces Direct’s delivery service, any short delivery must be reported immediately to the delivery driver.

4.2 Claims for non-delivery must be made in writing to Handpieces Direct within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.

4.3 Handpieces Direct is not liable for delays or failures in delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

4.4 Handpieces Direct is not liable for goods reported stolen after delivery to a customer-approved “safe place.”

5. Title to Goods

5.1 Title to goods remains with Handpieces Direct until full payment is received. Handpieces Direct reserves the right to repossess unpaid goods.

5.2 In case of payment default, Handpieces Direct has the right to enter premises to retrieve unpaid goods.

5.3 Goods are at the customer’s risk upon delivery. Customers are responsible for insuring goods until full payment is made.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Handpieces Direct is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of supplied goods.

6.2 Handpieces Direct’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Prices

7.1 Prices are subject to change without prior notice unless otherwise agreed.

7.2 Online store prices may change; customers will be notified of any increases before processing orders.

8. Delivery Charges

Customers within Handpieces Direct’s delivery service areas incur no delivery charges. Other customers may be charged based on goods’ characteristics and delivery location.
